A Common Refrain “You Need to Knock Doors”

As newcomers to running for office, the one common refrain we hear from folks who have run in the past is: “You need to knock doors”. After the tenth time you hear it, you begin to take that to heart.

With help from the Newtown Democrats we have started our canvassing, and we would love to have you come and join us. We always appreciate some company when canvassing.

For the folks who have their favorite canvassing shoes, bag and know minivan better than the FB, we have a set of turfs cut and ready.

For the folks new to canvassing, but would love to try it out, we would love to have you join us. We can show you how it works and in a way that is stress free and enjoyable.

For the primary Ed and Melissa are unopposed, so for the primary we are really working with the Newtown Dems to get the word out for Bucks County Court of Common Pleas. Linda Bobrin, Dawn Burke, Tiffany Thomas-Smith and Amy Fitzpatrick are all running. We have materials for them and we are hoping to educate folks in Newtown about them as candidates. One complexity for these positions is that folks can cross-file so Democrats will see candidates that are really republican listed on the Democratic ballot. Therefore it is important that folks know which candidates to vote for.
